We have a poster girl for Cherry Week on 52 Pick-me-up:

It's Sue, of A Colorful Canvas!

Not only is she doing things with a cherry, her dress is a CHERRY PRINT! Awesome, right?
Even more amazing, she made her dress, then made a matching lanyard!
(Can you see it up there? I know, the cherry action is distracting).

My take:
I feel incomplete because I lack initiative to get my personal artwork done and when I have this I will feel much more fulfilled."
Procrastination. My self-inflicted bugbear.

52 Pick-me-up: A Colorful Year

Welcome to Round 3 of the weekly 52 Pick-me-up closet remix challenge!
This year, I'm doing something different and colorful.

I developed the list of prompts from the colors and words associated with Tori Hartman's Chakra Wisdom Oracle. I used both the Guidebook that comes with the card deck and her book Chakra Wisdom Oracle Toolkit. [Full disclosure: Tori gifted me with with both books in June 2015. Amazon links are non-affiliate]. If you would like more in-depth information, I suggest referring to to the Toolkit book. The hues of the colors below are my interpretations of Tori's color names. The words are key words from the card deck's Guidebook. [Prompts 1, 23, and 52 are not from Tori's cards, did not have names, and come from weeks in the Toolkit].

Chakra Wisdom Oracle with Tori Hartman

Last Friday I had the opportunity to meet with author Tori Hartman to hear about her 
Chakra Wisdom Oracle Cards and Toolkit.

It was a really interesting session. There were four of us around a glass table on her back patio. Tori told us her story, we told ours, and then we did a couple of fun exercises involving our intuition. Tori suggested that I begin by working with the Heart Chakra/ Green exercises in her Toolkit book. When I got home, I was inspired to clear off my bedside shelf and make myself a green zone:

Finally a use for the jumbo Pantone postcards that I bought a couple of years ago!
