BLOOPERS! OUTTAKES!

So I have this very low attendance Link Party happening.
The original theme is/was Foolish Things.
BIG thanks to Shelbee for being the first party guest.

The intention behind my Link Parties is a little different from most Style Blogs.
I want you to go through your old posts to find treasures to link up.
Or your Instagram.
Did you know that you can add an Instagram post? Yes, you can!
(I will add my sad broken coffee mug for you. See below).

How about I change the theme to
"Bloopers, Outtakes, Happy Accidents, and Foolish Things"?

Let's see what I can find for visuals...
Oh boy...

Bathroom selfies!
Here's what I actually posted:
Here's the above-mentioned camera blooper (unedited):
This is how EVERYTHING looks when I take off my glasses.
Do you take self-timed photos?
I have a lot is these:
Look! It's Selfie Corner!

Selfies really lend themselves to Bloopers.
Especially when you have a group: Exhibit A. Exhibit B. (or see links below)

So, what have YOU got?

How To Take a Bad Group Selfie

You can practice in a mirror:
Keep in mind, no mirrors at your destination!

Find a good background and gather your friends:
Poppies in background: check.
Ruth: check.
Where's Silvana?

Over there

OK then, here we all are!
Niiiiice photo, Silvana.

This was part one of my expedition to Lancaster with Silvana of @embellish-or-perish and Ruth.
For part two, we went to MOAH, to view shoes by Chris Francis (among other things).

Downtown with Peggy Noland

Ruth and I rendezvoused at BOLD LA in downtown LA to attend a Savoir Collab featuring the creative force Peggy Noland.
We were a photographers' delight, but I have yet to see any images of us.
Isn't Ruth's hat AMAZING?
Savoir Collab founders Tamalin Srisook and Marta Stattmiller, flanking
moderator Harmonie of Pop Your Shop and Peggy Noland.
Peggy is wearing one of her own creations.
Harmonie's discussion with Peggy was fascinating. Peggy started out in Kansas City, MO with the storefront Peggy Noland. She has made a second home in LA and has opened the shop, Wacky Wacko, in Echo Park.
Ruth and I will be making a field trip there soon! It's located at 1361 Sunset Blvd.

I sketched the event:
The audience was a fun, eclectic bunch:
Savoir Collab's mission [pulled from their website]:
Starting this year, we will be hosting monthly events centered around empowering women through sharing our intentions, mindfulness leadership, health & wellness, stand up & speak, and harnessing the beauty of collaboration. In 2017, now more than ever, it is important for us to come together and elevate our voices. These events will be intimate, invite only gatherings of female professionals, trailblazers, and influencers in Los Angeles.
In Los Angeles and interested? Subscribe HERE for their email list.

Happy Memorial Day, with Ruth

CREATED/
Ruth joined me at the Granny Squared reception. She dressed in true holiday spirit.
Here is her description of what she wore (I have translated her abbreviations):

Elvis tee totally American.
Purple skirt across the amber waves.
Red hat.
Flag shirt.
Argyle socks.
Oh they stare as if I am in the Zoo and not real!
Argyle socks equal American to me
Blue key chain

Dodgers
Purple mountains majesty
To all my US readers, have a wonderful holiday.

A huge THANK YOU to all our men and women in the service.
