I got this skirt at a "head shop" in Troy, NY.
Eventually, I cut it up and made a bikini from it.
Here's the bikini style in other fabrics, worn camping in Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico in 1982.
I still love this print. Maybe I should digitize it and get some yardage printed on Spoonflower.
You'll be the first to know if I do!

Crazy Quilt -- Synthetic Striped Knit Jersey
If I remember correctly, I got this dress at a ladies shop in Millbrook, NY. I of course had to shorten it.
I'm still quite fond of the color combo and I have a Pinterest board devoted to it!

Crazy Quilt -- Purple Gingham
My first year of high school was the last year that uniforms were required.
The spring uni was a shirt waist style in poly/cotton gingham.
I don't have any photos of myself in one. Here is Elizabeth Anne Lundquist from our 71 yearbook.

Crazy Quilt Sketchbook Project
Do you remember me talking about my old crazy quilt back in July?
Here it is again:
I'm using it as the inspiration for my next Arthouse Sketchbook Project.
It will be a trip back to the 70s, SpyGirl style.
The Sketchbook has to be sent to Brooklyn by 1/15. I spent all day yesterday furiously working on it (oh the Sharpie fumes!). I'll post the pages slowly, however. Come back everyWednesday Tuesday and Thursday through February to see how it looks.
